Pairc na Realta from the drive
Pairc na Realta is located high in a valley with panoramic views of mountains and Dingle Bay as far as the westernmost point of Ireland.
As they say in these parts..."next parish America".
The house was built by the present owners 35 years ago and has been upgraded and remodelled over the years. It has two wings, separated by a central living area. The principal bedroom with four-poster bed and its own bathroom and separate shower room is in one wing. In the other there are three bedrooms a bathroom, separate shower room and a games room. The main living area extends around 45 feet (14 metres) and comprises a state of the art kitchen-diner separated from the sitting room by a cosy sunken central stone fireplace, with bench seating set round it, leading to a sun room with dining and sitting areas. There is an adjacent covered barbecue area.
The garden extends to 3/4 of an acre (0.3 hectare) with the top level landscaped and the lower level (not visible from the house) left more natural. There is parking for three cars by the house and for a further three at the bottom of the site by the front gate.
We've been coming to Kerry for around 45 years, since we landed in Glenbeigh on honeymoon. It is a great place for family holidays, socialising, getting away from the city and just relaxing.
